Park & gardens in the Chevreuse Valley

The owners have long lived on the east coast of the United States, and back in France, they wanted to remember their beautiful years there, by building a comfortable New England style home. The family who lives there also have children, reason for which Abeillus has landscaped lawns and meadow, so they have leisure areas at her disposal.

It is a property on the edge of a natural pond and offers some great views. Abeillus used massive plantings of species to create a tapestry of colors and textures, from any angle.

Numbers of plants are cut low, which contrasts with the large oaks that surround the garden. In the ornamental garden, Japanese maples are accompanied by a mosaic of plants.

Abeillus has taken into account the population of deers, does and venisons, that tend to ravage gardens in the area, and thus selected plants they dislike.
